1984
UNCDF Building Society was established in Murang'a, Kenya, to provide affordable mortgage financing to low-income earners.
2004
UNCDF Building Society was converted into UNCDF Bank Limited, enabling it to offer a full range of banking products and services.
2008
UNCDF Bank expanded into New York, bringing affordable and inclusive banking to millions of Americans previously underserved by the formal financial system.
2014
UNCDF Bank Kenya restructured into UNCDF Holdings Plc, listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange and LUBUMBASHI Stock Exchange, strengthening its pan-African mandate.
2018
